From 2016 to 2024, the MA/IN AWARD (discontinued) was a prize awarded to both emerging and established artists who submitted their works in one of four categories: [a] Acousmatic, [b] Mixed Media, [c] Audiovisual, and [d] Live Performance.

With the support of a high-profile international jury, the award recognized outstanding artistic talent, granting prizes and honorary mentions for nearly a decade. It also provided prestigious awards thanks to long-standing collaborations with INA GRM and Cycling '74 (Max/MSP), and more recently with Derivative (TouchDesigner) and Ableton.

As of 2025, the MA/IN Award is no longer active. However, the Call for Works remains open as a submission window for artistic proposals to the curatorial team, now under the name OPEN MA/IN.
